Ensure the monitor is plugged into a power outlet and turned on.
Verify that the power cable is securely connected to the monitor.
Look for a power indicator light on the monitor (usually located on the front or side). If the light is off, the monitor may not be receiving power.
Confirm that the monitor’s video cable (HDMI, DisplayPort, VGA, etc.) is securely connected to the docking station.
Check that the docking station is firmly connected to the laptop or computer.
Disconnect the docking station from the laptop.
Wait for 10-15 seconds and reconnect it to the laptop.
Ensure the laptop is powered on and properly docked.
On your laptop:
Windows: Right-click on the desktop and select Display Settings. Scroll down and click Detect under the "Multiple Displays" section.
If the docking station has multiple video output ports (e.g., HDMI, DisplayPort), try plugging the monitor into a different port.
Replace the video cable connecting the monitor to the docking station to rule out a faulty cable.
Connect the monitor directly to a different laptop or desktop computer to ensure it is functioning correctly.
Restart the laptop to refresh the connection with the docking station and peripherals.
Verify if other devices connected to the docking station (e.g., additional monitors, keyboards) are working properly.
Note any error messages or unusual behavior.
